The changing light of day and the moods it creates are the foundations of my work. My photographs usually start with something that catches my eye... interesting light, evocative shapes, rich textures, or striking composition... which then evolve into my compositions. Art is typically a synthesis of the artist's personal feelings, the subject or colors that inspire them, and the materials and techniques by which they create their work. Serenity and simplicity are my primary goals.
